JYN GUO (郭天嬌) is an illustrator and visual development artist from Shanghai based in Los Angeles. She had initially chosen a more practical path and earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Economics from University of California, Berkeley. She pursued her interest in art during college, and received a scholarship awards from the School of Visual Arts, which led her decision to move to New York City where she studied art with a degree in illustration. Her work is influenced by ancient Chinese and Japanese mythology, poems, music and folklores. She enjoys long walks in the nature and playing the piano in her free time, both of which inspire her to make artworks. She currently lives and works in Pasadena, CA.
